Is PADUCAH and the 2024 AQS Quilt Show on your bucket list? Held April 24-27, 2024!

Join our bus tour to one of the most iconic quilt shows in the country. See quilts from around the world, vendors from across the country and learn new techniques from nationally know quilters. This tour, which has been going on almost as long as the show, will have you staying a short walk away from Hancock’s of Paducah - a huge fabric store. The trip price includes four nights hotel stay and two lunches for $718, per person, double occupancy. Pick-ups include the Madison area and Janesville. Please contact Carol J. Also, please note that registration for classes and lectures at the Paducah show will open up to AQS members on January 16, and many classes sell out quickly. This year’s show promises to be bigger - it has been steadily growing the last couple of years. We appreciate you time!

  • The Friends of the Oconomowoc Public Library are looking for experienced quilters to help make a Wizard of Oz quilt to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the movie this summer. There is a Sew Day planned on Saturday, March 2 beginning at 10 AM at the Library. If you or someone you know would be interested in helping, please join us! They are also interested in doing a beginner quilting program unrelated to the Wizard of Oz quilt. If you would be interested in helping with that kind of program, please let Mary H. know.
